Executive Chef
We are in need of an experienced and creative Executive Chef to oversee the culinary operations of our high-end restaurant in Al Buraymi. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking and a strong background in creating innovative and delicious dishes. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, developing menus, sourcing ingredients, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and appeal to our target audience
- Create new and unique dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including sous chefs and line cooks
- Monitor food quality and ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes
- Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels at all times
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards
- Collaborate with management to control costs and maximize profits
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and introduce new techniques or equipment into the kitchen
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Passion for cooking and creating unique dishes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and delegate tasks effectively
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English communication skills
