Seasonal Executive Chef (Dar Kulaib)
As the Seasonal Executive Chef for our Dar Kulaib location, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations. You will work closely with our team to create and execute menus that showcase local flavors and ingredients. We are looking for someone with previous experience as an Executive Chef, who is able to handle a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. This is a seasonal position, with a salary of $1200 per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop menus that showcase local flavors and ingredients
- Oversee all food preparation and kitchen operations
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently produced
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Work within budget constraints to maximize profitability without sacrificing quality
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service for guests
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of local ingredients and flavors preferred
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating innovative dishes
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Note: This is a seasonal position without accommodation provided. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience working in Dar Kulaib or familiarity with the local cuisine.
