Crane Operator - Muharraq, Bahrain


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Muharraq, Bahrain. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites or in industrial settings. Your role will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Read and interpret load charts to determine appropriate crane capacity and rigging requirements
- Inspect cranes before use to ensure they are in safe working condition
- Communicate with ground crew or other operators using hand signals or two-way radios
- Lift, move, and position heavy materials according to instructions from supervisors or project managers
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust crane operations accordingly
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes as needed
- Record all crane activities and maintain accurate records of work performed
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in crane operation preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating different types of cranes in construction or industrial settings
- Valid crane operator certification/license from an accredited institution
- Knowledge of load charts and rigging techniques for different types of loads
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights if necessary
- Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays if required

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this position.
