Junior Librarian


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Librarian to join our team in Muharraq. As a Junior Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting with library operations and providing support to patrons. This is a full-time position without accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with general library duties such as shelving, cataloging, and circulation
- Provide excellent customer service to patrons by answering questions and assisting with research
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the library
- Help develop and implement programs and activities for the library
- Assist with maintaining digital resources and databases
- Perform other tasks as assigned by senior librarians

Requirements:
- Biometric passport (or ability to obtain one)
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a library or customer service environment preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)

Salary:
Starting salary of 1500$ per month.
