Machine Operator


The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various machines in a manufacturing setting. They will work with precision and attention to detail to ensure the proper functioning of the machines and production of high-quality products. The successful candidate will have previous experience operating machines and the ability to troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up machines according to specifications and ensure all necessary materials are readily available
- Operate machines, monitor their performance, and adjust settings as needed for optimal production
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production and perform basic maintenance on machines
- Keep track of inventory levels and report any shortages or defects in materials
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude with good troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail, precision, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically capable of standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating machinery safely
