Crane Operator (Contract)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team on a contract basis in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift and move heavy materials, equipment, and machinery on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes safely and efficiently according to project plans and instructions from supervisors
- Inspect crane equipment before use to ensure proper functioning and report any issues immediately
- Operate crane controls to lift, move, position, and place materials or equipment in designated areas
- Communicate effectively with ground crew using hand signals or two-way radios
- Monitor load weight and rigging during lifting operations to prevent overload or instability
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or damage to property or equipment
- Keep daily records of crane operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents or accidents that occur

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid license or certification to operate cranes (e.g. National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators)
- Knowledge of crane safety procedures and ability to read load charts
- Ability to operate different types of cranes including mobile, tower, overhead, and crawler cranes
- Physical strength and stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this role is 1400$ per month.
