Pastry Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled Pastry Chef to join our team in Ar-Ruwais. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries for our guests. Your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for baking will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute creative pastry menu items that meet the standards of our establishment
- Prepare pastries, cakes, and other desserts according to recipes and specifications
- Ensure all pastry items are presented in an attractive manner with attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Manage inventory and control food waste by utilizing proper storage techniques
- Train and supervise junior pastry staff members
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menu offerings that align with guest preferences
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain high levels of hygiene
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, tools, and equipment
- Ability to create visually appealing desserts while maintaining flavor profiles
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate junior staff members
- Attention to detail and creativity in designing new menu items
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Malayalee speakers preferred)
Salary: 1200$
Location: Ar-Ruwais (accommodation provided)
Nationality: Malayalee (preferred)
