Indian Chef


We are hiring an experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Al-Rayyan. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Indian dishes for our restaurant's menu. Your role will also include developing new menu items, overseeing kitchen operations, and managing inventory and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to traditional recipes
- Create new menu items that showcase the flavors and techniques of Indian cuisine
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective menus while maintaining high-quality standards
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, cooking techniques, and spices
- Ability to create unique menu items that showcase the flavors of India
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment

Education/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as an Indian Chef or similar role

1700$ per month
