Executive Chef - Egyptian Cuisine
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to oversee the kitchen operations of our Egyptian restaurant located in Al-Khor, Qatar. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing authentic Egyptian dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus and recipes that showcase the flavors and techniques of Egyptian cuisine
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to meet budget goals
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of all food items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with management on special events or promotions
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant specializing in Egyptian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Egyptian ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Fluent in Arabic; proficiency in English is a plus
- Must be able to obtain a work visa for Qatar
