Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Al-Khor, Qatar)


We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef with a passion for Indian cuisine to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, menu planning, and food preparation for our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement menus that showcase the best of Indian cuisine while also catering to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and setting performance standards
- Oversee inventory management and ordering to maintain quality and freshness of ingredients
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Monitor kitchen budget and control costs through efficient menu planning and inventory management
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop seasonal menus and special event menus
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste through regular taste tests
- Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques in Indian cuisine to continuously improve menu offerings

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting specializing in Indian cuisine
- In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and regional specialties
- Ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proven experience in menu development, cost control, inventory management
- Understanding of health codes and regulations related to food safety
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Must hold a valid biometric passport

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary starting at 1400$ per month based on experience.
