Merchandiser - Abu Dhabi, UAE
A well-known retail company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled and experienced Merchandiser to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing displays, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that products are stocked and displayed correctly. You will work closely with the buying team to develop strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create attractive displays that showcase products and promote sales
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure that all products are stocked and displayed correctly
- Collaborate with the buying team to develop merchandising strategies
- Conduct market research to understand customer preferences and trends
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement
- Build strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms
- Train and supervise junior merchandising staff
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- 3+ years of experience in merchandising within the retail industry
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales data
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Urdu/Hindi is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
