Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Ajman, UAE)
We are currently seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine to join our team in Ajman, UAE. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations and managing a team of talented chefs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create menus and develop new dishes that showcase authentic Indian flavors and ingredients
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to high-quality standards
- Manage food costing and inventory control to maintain profitability
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper techniques and procedures for Indian cooking
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new ideas into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel, with a focus on Indian cuisine
- Excellent knowledge of authentic Indian dishes, cooking techniques, and spices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Good understanding of food costing, inventory control, and budget management
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing new dishes
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus)
- Valid UAE residence visa is preferred
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month, along with other benefits. This is a full-time position without accommodation provided.
