Head Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant (Egyptian Nationals Preferred)
We are seeking an experienced and creative Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at a high-end fine dining restaurant in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and dishwashers
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new concepts and special events
- Maintain inventory levels and control food costs by implementing proper ordering procedures
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing innovative menus and dishes
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is an advantage)
- Must be able to legally work in Saudi Arabia
Salary: 1500$ per month (tax-free) + benefits
