Restaurant Manager - Bayan, Africa


As the Restaurant Manager at our fast-paced and popular restaurant in Bayan, Africa, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily operations. This includes managing staff, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and ensuring that all food and beverage offerings meet our standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations
- Train, schedule, and supervise staff to ensure efficient service and high-quality food and beverage offerings
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely manner to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to maximize profits
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items or specials based on customer feedback or market trends
- Conduct performance evaluations for staff members and provide coaching or training as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English (other languages are an asset)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field (preferred)
- Food handling certification (required)

Salary: $1500/month
