Office Assistant
We are hiring an energetic and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Al-Wakra. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth running of our office operations. This position is ideal for candidates who are looking for English speaking jobs in Africa and do not require prior experience or accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
- Greet visitors and direct them to the correct department
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and preparing packages
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Organize and maintain both electronic and paper filing systems
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings, as well as making travel arrangements
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents as needed
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, billing, and data entry
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related field is a plus
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.
Location:
This position is located in Al-Wakra but may require occasional travel within the region.
Preference:
Preference will be given to candidates with a biometric passport.
