Cashier - Dubai

We are a retail store located in Dubai and we are seeking a friendly, customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with any inquiries
- Scan and process items accurately using the POS system
- Accept payments from customers in various forms (cash, credit/debit cards, vouchers)
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer questions regarding products, promotions, and policies
- Upsell products or services when appropriate
- Keep track of inventory levels and inform management of low stock items

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
