Indian Chef - Ar-Ruwais


We are in search of a skilled Indian Chef to join our team in Ar-Ruwais. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Indian Chef
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to create new and innovative dishes while maintaining traditional flavors
- Proficiency in managing kitchen operations, inventory control, and food cost management
- Strong leadership skills and ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure well

Responsibilities:
- Plan menus and create new dishes based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Prepare all food items according to standardized recipes, portion sizes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
- Ensure proper storage, rotation, labeling, and handling of all food items to minimize waste and maintain freshness
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food items while maintaining high-quality standards
- Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed within budget guidelines
- Train new employees on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and company policies
- Work closely with the management team to develop cost-effective menus while maintaining high-quality standards

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef in a reputable establishment is preferred but not required
- Degree or diploma in culinary arts or related field is a plus
- Knowledge of HACCP standards is desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary: 1500$ per month
