Carpenter


We are in need of a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and maintaining wooden structures, furniture and other wooden items. You will also be required to read and interpret blueprints, follow building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to blueprints or drawings
- Cut and shape wood, plastic or other materials using hand or power tools
- Install structures such as windows, doors, staircases, partitions and cabinets
- Inspect and repair damaged framework or fixtures
- Follow safety procedures when working with sharp tools and heavy equipment
- Collaborate with contractors, electricians and plumbers to complete projects on time
- Keep track of materials used and request new supplies when needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role preferably in the construction industry
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Good understanding of building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing, bending and lifting
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: 1700$ per month

Location: Abu Dhabi (preferably for Indian nationals)
