Executive Chef - Salalah, Oman
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and talented Executive Chef to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring the quality of our dishes meets the highest standards. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1800$ per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop menus and create new dishes that align with our restaurant's concept and customer preferences.
- Manage inventory and control costs by sourcing high-quality ingredients at the best prices.
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high levels of productivity, efficiency, and hygiene.
- Ensure the kitchen is always clean, organized, and up to safety standards.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into our menu offerings.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating unique dishes using fresh ingredients.
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
- Must have own visa or transferable visa in Oman.
