Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury resort in Salalah, Oman. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and culinary operations, ensuring high-quality food and service for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create menus that reflect the resort's concept and appeal to the target market
- Oversee food purchasing, inventory management, and cost control
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
- Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other departments to plan events and special menus
- Monitor food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end establishment
- Proven track record of managing kitchen operations, maintaining quality standards, and controlling costs
- Knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and ingredients
- Ability to lead a team effectively with strong communication skills
- Biometric passport required for international travel
- Experience working in a multicultural environment is preferred
- Willingness to relocate to Salalah, Oman
