As a florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events. You will work with fresh and artificial flowers to design and create unique and visually appealing bouquets, centerpieces, and other floral displays. Your role will also involve taking care of the plants and flowers in the shop, ensuring they are well-maintained and presented to customers in their best condition.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong passion for flowers and possess excellent creative skills. You must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work with different types of flowers to create stunning arrangements. As a florist, you should also have good communication skills to interact with customers and understand their preferences.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and creating floral arrangements for various occasions
- Maintaining the shop's inventory of fresh and artificial flowers
- Ensuring that all plants and flowers are well-maintained
- Providing excellent customer service by understanding their needs
- Keeping up-to-date with current trends and techniques in floral design
- Managing the shop's budget for flower purchases
- Collaborating with other team members to create large-scale displays for events

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a florist or in a similar role
- Passion for working with flowers
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of different types of flowers and how to care for them
