Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team in Al-Malikiyah. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international cuisine, as well as experience in managing a diverse team of chefs and kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and appeal to our target audience
- Oversee all food preparation ensuring highest quality standards are met
- Train and manage a team of chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with management to develop new strategies for improving the restaurant's operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- In-depth knowledge of international cuisine with a focus on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new menu items and concepts
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant field from an accredited institution
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an asset)
Salary: 1400$ per month
