Restaurant Manager - Indian Cuisine (Sharjah)
We are a well-established Indian restaurant in Sharjah, looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our daily operations. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the restaurant, including customer service, food quality, and staff management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all restaurant staff, including waiters/waitresses, chefs, and kitchen staff
- Ensure high quality of food and drinks served to customers
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies when needed
- Train new staff members on company policies and procedures
- Create work schedules for employees and ensure coverage during peak hours
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the restaurant at all times
- Develop marketing strategies to attract more customers and increase sales
- Monitor financial performance of the restaurant and make necessary adjustments to improve profitability
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in an Indian cuisine establishment
- Excellent knowledge of Indian cuisine and culture
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control techniques
- Experience with developing marketing strategies is preferred
