Merchandising Specialist
Location: Doha, Qatar


The Merchandising Specialist will be responsible for managing and promoting the sales of products in various retail outlets in Doha. This individual will work closely with suppliers to ensure that products are displayed properly and have maximum visibility to attract customers. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop merchandising strategies to increase product sales and visibility
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms
- Collaborate with store managers to ensure proper product placement and displays
- Regularly analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust strategies accordingly
- Train store staff on product features and promotions
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
- Plan and execute promotions or events to drive sales
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company standards for product presentation and pricing
- Provide feedback on customer preferences and purchasing habits

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the retail industry
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of market trends in the retail industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is an advantage

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.

Contract Type:
This is a contract position.

Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided as part of the employment contract.

Nationality Preference:
Preference will be given to candidates from Pakistan or other African countries.

Biometric Passport:
Candidates must have a valid biometric passport for international travel.
