Executive Chef for Indian Restaurant in Jizan
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at our Indian restaurant in Jizan. As the head of the kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and executing menu items that showcase the authentic flavors and techniques of Indian cuisine. Your creativity and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of food quality and presentation.
Requirements:
- Must be of Indian nationality with a passion for Indian cuisine
- Salary is 1300$ per month, accommodation provided
- Must have previous experience as an Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant
- Ability to lead and manage a team of kitchen staff effectively
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian spices, flavors, and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent communication and organization skills
Responsibilities:
- Create new menu items that showcase traditional Indian flavors while also keeping up with current food trends
- Develop recipes that are both delicious and cost-effective
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, portion control, and presentation
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Monitor food quality to ensure consistency and make necessary adjustments when needed
- Collaborate with management on budget planning, menu changes, and special events
- Ensure compliance with all health codes and safety regulations
