Truck Driver (Contract)

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team on a contract basis in Khasab. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from one location to another. This is a physically demanding job, requiring you to load and unload cargo, plan routes, and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a truck to transport goods from one location to another
- Load and unload cargo in a timely and efficient manner
- Plan and follow the most efficient route for each trip
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, including hours of service limits
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the truck and report any issues or concerns
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries made
- Communicate with dispatchers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized truck at all times

Requirements:
- Valid truck driving license with clean driving record
- At least 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills
- Good communication skills in English (basic Arabic preferred)
- Must be willing to work on a contract basis in Khasab

Salary: 1400$ per month
