As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious desserts and baked goods. You will work closely with the head chef and kitchen team to ensure that all pastry items are of high quality and presented beautifully. Your creativity and attention to detail will be essential in developing new recipes and updating existing ones. Your main goal is to satisfy customers' sweet cravings with your delectable creations.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, breads, and other baked goods according to recipes
- Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, and other creative techniques
- Ensure timely production of pastry items for buffet displays, special events, and à la carte orders
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and place orders when needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new pastry dishes and improve existing ones
- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
- Follow food safety standards and guidelines while preparing food items
- Train junior chefs on pastry techniques, recipe procedures, and presentation standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel kitchen
- In-depth knowledge of various baking techniques, equipment, ingredients, measurements, etc.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail and aesthetic presentation
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.
