Instrument Technician
We are a leading oil and gas company based in Al-Khor and we are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments used in the operation of our facilities. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$.
Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and repair various instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and level transmitters
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on instruments to ensure they are functioning properly
- Identify and diagnose technical issues with instruments and provide effective solutions
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any equipment malfunctions or failures
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in instrument technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Instrumentation or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of various types of instruments used in oil and gas facilities
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary
