Excavator Operator


We are in need of a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Salalah. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, move and grade earth or other materials. Your main duties will include performing routine maintenance on equipment, following safety regulations and keeping records of work completed. The ideal candidate should have a valid license and at least 2 years of experience operating excavators. This is a contract job with visa sponsorship available. We welcome students who are looking for part-time work during their studies. Salary starts at $1100 per month, with potential for growth based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator to dig trenches, foundations, or other construction sites as directed by the project manager
- Complete daily safety checklists and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as greasing, fueling, and changing attachments
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure safe operation of the excavator
- Keep accurate records of work completed and report any issues or delays to the project manager
- Work closely with the construction team to ensure efficient progress and completion of projects
- Comply with all company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Valid license to operate excavator machinery
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators in a construction setting
- Basic understanding of construction techniques and site preparation processes
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions from project managers
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
