Cashier - Entry Level (Bayan, Kuwait)


We are seeking an entry-level Cashier to join our team at a busy retail store in Bayan, Kuwait. This position is ideal for freshers or individuals without prior experience in cashiering. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with their purchases
- Scan and process items accurately and efficiently at the cash register
- Accept payments in cash, credit or debit cards, and issue change as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues to the supervisor when necessary
- Keep track of inventory levels and inform the supervisor when items are running low
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting cash drawers and reconciling sales

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Fluent in Hindi or any other Indian language; knowledge of English is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently under pressure
- Basic math skills for calculating change and balancing cash drawers
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
