Executive Pastry Chef

As an Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and production of all desserts and baked goods in our high-end restaurant in Muscat. Your creativity and passion for pastry will be showcased through your innovative menu items and stunning presentations. You will lead a team of pastry chefs, ensuring their training and development, as well as maintaining high standards of quality and consistency in all pastry offerings.

Responsibilities:
- Designing new dessert menus to complement the overall restaurant concept
- Creating unique and visually appealing desserts using a variety of techniques and ingredients
- Overseeing the production of all baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and other sweets
- Managing inventory levels and ordering supplies to ensure freshness and availability
- Training and mentoring junior pastry chefs on proper techniques, flavor combinations, and presentation
- Ensuring all food safety protocols are followed by the pastry team
- Collaborating with other chefs to create cohesive menus that meet customer demand
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen space at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety procedures
- Creativity in designing new desserts that appeal to customers' tastes
- Ability to lead a team with strong communication skills
- Attention to detail in recipe development, plating, and overall presentation
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Degree or certification in culinary arts or pastry making is preferred
- Fluent English language skills
