Land Surveyor
As a land surveyor, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and mapping out land boundaries and features. You will use specialized equipment, such as GPS and robotic total stations, to collect data and create detailed survey reports. Your role will involve working both independently and as part of a team, often in outdoor environments. This position requires strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret maps and plans. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in land surveying and be comfortable working in physically demanding conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting field surveys to measure land boundaries, topography, and other relevant features
- Utilizing specialized equipment to collect data, including GPS receivers and total stations
- Analyzing survey data to create accurate maps, reports, and drawings
- Collaborating with engineers and architects to ensure survey results align with project requirements
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring proper calibration for accurate measurements
- Adhering to safety protocols while working on construction sites or in remote locations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a land surveyor
- Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in using surveying instruments
- Understanding of industry standards and regulations for land surveys
- Proficiency in reading maps, plans, and blueprints
- Physical fitness for working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Indian nationality preferred
