Senior Accountant



Are you an experienced accountant looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Our growing company in Muscat is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. This position is open to both male and female candidates.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will also be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or ACCA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an accountant, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (Quickbooks, SAP)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams
