Merchandiser
As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchase, display, and promotion of products in retail stores in Al Ahmadi. Your main goal will be to maximize sales and profitability by strategically positioning products in-store and creating appealing displays. You will work closely with suppliers and store managers to ensure that all products are stocked, displayed, and promoted effectively.
Your responsibilities will include conducting market research to identify customer preferences and trends, negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable prices and terms, planning product assortments and quantities based on sales data, developing promotional strategies to increase product visibility, and analyzing sales performance to make recommendations for future merchandising plans. You will also be responsible for training store staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of the retail industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze data to make strategic decisions. A minimum of 2 years of experience in merchandising or a related field is required. A degree in Business Administration or a similar field is preferred.
