Crane operator vacancy in Salalah Oman

Crane Operator

We are currently in need of an experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Salalah. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites or at industrial facilities. You must have at least 2 years of experience as a crane operator and hold a valid crane operator license.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes such as mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any malfunctions to the supervisor
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine the correct positioning of the crane
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure safe operation of the crane
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio communications
- Keep track of materials being lifted and ensure they are properly secured
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment before each use

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a crane operator in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid crane operator license/certification
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety-oriented mindset

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month along with accommodation.

Location:
This position is based in Salalah, Oman.
