Job Title: Contract Accountant in Muharraq, Bahrain



We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contract Accountant to join our team in Muharraq, Bahrain. As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our company on a contract basis. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided and visa sponsorship available for all nationalities.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records for the company
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare tax returns and handle any tax-related inquiries or audits
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities
- Provide financial guidance to management on budgeting and forecasting decisions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven experience as a Contract Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations in Bahrain
- Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is a plus
