Mason for Construction Project in Lusail, Qatar


We are in need of an experienced Mason to join our construction project team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and natural stones. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting materials, laying and aligning bricks or stones according to blueprints or specifications, and applying mortar or other adhesives to bind materials together.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Mason in the construction industry
- Extensive knowledge of different types of building materials and their properties
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Indian nationality preferred

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark building materials according to blueprints or specifications
- Cut bricks or stones using hand tools or power tools
- Lay bricks or stones in a specific pattern, ensuring they are level and aligned correctly
- Use mortar or other adhesives to secure bricks or stones together
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones
- Clean excess mortar from finished surfaces using various tools such as trowels or scrapers
- Communicate effectively with other team members and follow instructions from supervisors
- Adhere to all safety regulations on the construction site
