Baker at a Traditional Bakery in Nizwa, Oman

We are a traditional bakery located in the scenic city of Nizwa, Oman and we are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in baking and be able to work without accommodation and have their own valid visa. This position is open to both men and women.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of traditional breads, pastries, and other baked goods. You will also be expected to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the bakery kitchen.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Baker
- Knowledge and experience in making traditional breads and pastries
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have a valid visa or residency in Oman
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills is a plus)
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs, fillings, and batters according to recipes
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, dough sheeters, etc.
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked at the correct temperature for the right amount of time
- Decorate and garnish baked goods as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery kitchen at all times
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies when needed
- Train new team members on baking techniques and company policies

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$, based on experience. As we operate during regular business hours, you must be willing to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Our bakery is located in Nizwa so candidates who live within close proximity or have reliable transportation are preferred.
