Excavator Operator

City: Al Buraymi, Oman

Salary: $1800/month



We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Al Buraymi, Oman. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, grade and move earth or other materials as per project requirements. You must have a strong understanding of excavation techniques and safety procedures. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800/month.

Responsibilities:

- Operate excavator to dig and move earth or other materials as per project requirements
- Read and interpret project plans and blueprints to determine the scope of work
- Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of the excavator
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents or damage to equipment
- Coordinate with other team members on site to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Perform daily inspections of the excavator and report any issues or maintenance needs
- Keep accurate records of daily work activities, including hours worked, materials used, etc.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an excavator operator
- Knowledge of excavation techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures
- Ability to read project plans and blueprints
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
- Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception for precise movement of the excavator
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Must be able to work full-time in Al Buraymi, Oman
