Head Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team in Bayan, Malaysia. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure quality standards are met
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and specials
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Head Chef in Indian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Creativity in menu planning and developing new dishes
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: 1400$ per month
