Indian Executive Chef - Hawalli, Kuwait
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Hawalli, Kuwait. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and ensuring the quality and consistency of our Indian cuisine. This is a temporary position with a salary of 1100$.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan menus and create new dishes while adhering to authentic Indian flavors and techniques
- Source high-quality ingredients and maintain food cost control
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and monitoring performance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and portion control to maintain high standards of quality
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new seasonal menus
Requirements:
- Experience working as an Executive Chef in a reputable Indian restaurant or hotel for at least 5 years
- Excellent knowledge of Indian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Fluent in English
- Must be able to obtain necessary work permits/visas for Kuwait
