Chef de Cuisine
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team in Hawalli. As a Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. Our ideal candidate must have previous experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef, with excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that are both innovative and appealing to our customers
- Oversee all food preparation processes to ensure high quality standards are met
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment
- Collaborate with management on budgeting and cost control measures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to effectively delegate tasks and communicate with front-of-house staff
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Salary:
