Job Title: Senior Accountant


We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Al Buraymi. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our company. Your duties will include preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze budgets and financial reports to identify discrepancies or variances.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Provide guidance to junior accounting staff.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or other relevant certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Experience with financial statement analysis and budgeting processes.
- Proficient in MS Excel, QuickBooks, and other accounting software programs.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary:
The salary for this role is 1100$ per month. Biometric passport is required for this position. Accommodation will be provided by the company.

This position is based in Al Buraymi. However, candidates of any nationality residing in Oman are welcome to apply.
