Florist Assistant - Contract Position in Hawalli, Kuwait (Indian/Malayalee Applicants Preferred)


We are seeking a skilled and creative Florist Assistant to join our team in Hawalli, Kuwait on a contract basis. As a Florist Assistant, you will assist the lead florist in designing and creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, and corporate events.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in selecting and purchasing flowers, plants, and other floral materials from suppliers
- Prepare flowers by removing thorns, trimming stems, and arranging them into bouquets or centerpieces
- Help with designing and creating unique floral arrangements based on client preferences
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the flower shop
- Handle customer inquiries and assist with sales transactions
- Assist with deliveries to clients' homes or event venues as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a florist assistant or similar role
- Creativity and a good eye for design
- Strong knowledge of different types of flowers and plants
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in Malayalam (English is not required)
- Indian/Malayalee nationality preferred (but all nationalities are welcome to apply)
- Must be able to work without accommodation provided
