Junior Accountant

A reputable accounting firm in Doha is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and reconciling accounts. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the field of accounting and grow within our company.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily financial transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, bank deposits, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Assist with monthly and year-end close processes.
- Prepare financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Support senior accountants in various tasks as needed.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills in English.

Preferred:
- Fluency in Malayalam language is preferred but not required.
- Experience working in an accounting firm or similar environment.

We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month, as well as opportunities for growth within the company.
