Carpenter - Al-Malikiyah, Syria



We are in need of a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures made of wood and other materials. Your expertise in measuring, cutting, shaping and joining materials will be vital in ensuring that our projects are completed with precision and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Measure, cut and shape wood or other materials according to specifications
- Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, staples or adhesives
- Install structures such as windows, frames, flooring and trim
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged or decayed parts
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet project requirements
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment used for carpentry work
- Communicate with clients or project managers to understand their needs and provide updates on progress
- Adhere to safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools and measuring devices
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans accurately
- Good understanding of different types of wood and their properties
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and equipment
- Attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Willingness to work overtime when needed

Education/Certification Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training is preferred)
- Valid carpentry certification/license (if applicable)

Salary: 1400$ per month
