Executive Chef - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operation, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1000$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques and sanitation standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Develop relationships with local suppliers to ensure high-quality ingredients at reasonable prices
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events or catering orders
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or certificate preferred
- Strong knowledge of international cuisine with a focus on African dishes
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Experience creating menus that cater to dietary restrictions or preferences
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
