Long Haul Truck Driver

As a long haul truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across long distances between cities and states. Your primary duty will be to operate a large commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic and safety laws while ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate records of your driving hours, rest periods, and vehicle maintenance. This job requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a large commercial truck to transport goods between cities and states
- Plan routes and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
- Keep accurate records of driving hours, rest periods, and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers on the road
- Inspect vehicle before each trip and report any mechanical issues
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure personal safety as well as the safety of others on the road
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a long haul truck driver
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to work long hours in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Physical ability to load/unload cargo and perform required tasks

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Preference will be given to Indian candidates who are able to communicate effectively in English.
