Executive Chef - Muharraq, Bahrain
The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and ensuring high quality food and service in our restaurant. This individual will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative menu items that reflect current food trends
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen in accordance with sanitation standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage food costs to meet budgetary guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively manage staff and interact with customers
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire kitchen team
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in culinary field
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Must have experience in menu planning, cost management, and inventory control
- Knowledge of Bahraini cuisine is a plus
Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
