Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine property boundaries and land features. You will use specialized equipment and techniques to measure and map out the topography of a specific area. This role requires strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys using specialized equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and drones
- Measure physical properties of land including elevation, distance, angles, and boundaries
- Prepare detailed maps, reports, and legal descriptions of survey results
- Utilize computer software to process data and create accurate visual representations of survey findings
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals on construction or development projects
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety protocols
- Keep accurate records of field notes and measurements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Land Surveyor
- Strong mathematical skills
- Proficient in using surveying equipment such as total stations and GPS receivers
- Experience with computer software for data processing
- Knowledgeable about relevant laws and regulations
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills
This is a full-time position with a salary of $900 per month. Accommodation will be provided for the successful candidate.
